Mk3 Scirocco owners will confirm that their car’s door sills are quite wide and so paintwork is quite vulnerable to knocks, scrapes and scratches as you enter and exit the car.

Richard Grant Mouldings (RGM) has a solution – its made a set of sill guards made from tough ABS plastic.

According to RGM, these door sill protectors take about five minutes to fit (they’re secured in position by 3M double-sided tape) and can be used to cover over existing scratches.

RGM’s sill guards are also available for the Mk5 and Mk6 Golfs, plus recent generations of the Polo and Passat. Seat Ibiza and Leon sill guards will also be available soon.
